“I was new to Springfield, and through Leadership Springfield I learned so much about Springfield and the opportunities the community has to offer. I am now involved with the Springfield Public Schools Foundation and its Back to School campaign. I also serve on the board of directors for the Girl Scouts of Dogwood Trails Council. The contacts and friends I made through Leadership Springfield have made it easier for me to get involved in the community.”

Leadership Springfield offers sponsorship opportunities

Leadership Springfield has produced almost 600 graduates during its first 20 years of existence in this community. The graduates of this nine-month program are committed to Leadership Springfield's mission and are actively involved in the community. In fact, it would be a challenge to find any business, government, civic or nonprofit organization in Springfield that does not have at least one Leadership Springfield graduate in a leadership role. In addition, Leadership Springfield Academy provides an opportunity for high school students to interact with community leaders, learn about current community issues, and develop the personal skills needed by our future leaders.

If you believe in building leaders for our community, then consider sponsoring a program day, a two-day fall or spring retreat, or participate in the Leadership golf tournament.
